Mindfulness Based Recovery
Re-cover. Rediscover. Reconnect.
Join us for Mindfulness Based Recovery(MBR) meetings where we learn tools to help us transform our wounds into wisdom, dive deep into the 'why' behind our ineffective behaviors and beliefs, and do the deeper inner work to build lives we don't want to escape from. Whether you're here for substance use disorder, process addictions, mental health resources, or just friends and family suppport, all are welcome.
What is Mindfulness Based Recovery?
Mindfulness Based Recovery (MBR) is Rest and Recovery Foundation's signature approach to healing and transformation. Rather than simply focusing on stopping unwanted behaviors, MBR helps us understand the deeper reasons behind ineffective behavior and build lives filled with meaning, connection, and purpose.
Through our meetings, we create a compassionate space where healing happens naturally. We learn to regulate our emotions and nervous systems, rewire neural pathways through consistent practice, and discover our personal truths. This isn't about deprivation—it's about abundance. It's about creating a life you don't feel the need to escape from.
Through MBR Meetings, We:
  • Explore the deeper reasoning behind addictive behaviors
  • Practice radical self-honesty, compassionate self-examination, radical acceptance, and tools to re-pattern ineffective behaviors
  • Cultivate present-moment awareness and conscious choice
  • Build skills for emotional and nervous system regulation
  • Re-wire neural pathways through consistent practice
  • Create space for self-discovery and personal truth
  • Support each other in building lives of meaning and purpose

Our Philosophy
We believe recovery isn't about deprivation—it's about abundance. Through community, we create lives we don't feel the need to escape from. Through practice, we build lives worth living. Through connection, we discover we're not alone on this journey.
Mindfulness Based Recovery recognizes that lasting change comes from understanding ourselves deeply and compassionately. When we explore the 'why' behind our behaviors with curiosity rather than judgment, we unlock the door to genuine transformation. When we practice being present with what is, we develop the capacity to make conscious choices aligned with our values.
Confidentiality & Safety
Creating a safe container for healing is our highest priority. Every MBR meeting operates under clear guidelines that protect everyone's dignity, privacy, and right to share authentically.
Complete Confidentiality
What's shared in meetings stays in meetings—always
